I have been very happy with the bed for about a year. The bed has a slow leak from one of the seams and the water is running down the backside of the bed. I don't know how long its been doing that but lifting the leaking edge stopped the water so now I have to try to repair it with some adhesive or toss it.

My dog sleeps upstairs at night in a carpeted west facing room that she finds too hot in spring and summer. In the past she was always restless at night, panting and moving from spot to spot on the warm carpet. The Cool Bed was an immediate hit. She has always liked to put her head up a little on something, so she likes the cover with the bolster. She goes straight to it at bedtime and is able to relax completely. I sleep better because she is no longer restless and panting. For optimal cooling, in the morning I carry the bed down to the basement, the coolest spot in the house, to cool on the cold floor during the day, and then bring it upstairs to the carpeted floor in the bedroom at bedtime. This works OK with a small or medium, but a large would be too hard to carry full of water.
